Pin•board (pĭn•bôrd): n. a visual collection of things you love


I recently got invited to join up to Pinterest (insert link), yes you actually need to be invited or receive an invite to join. Love the exclusivity of it.

It is, in simple terms a giant scrapbook of inspiration where you can “pin’’ images you love onto your own boards.

The ideas and images here are never ending and oh so many beautiful things. Whether your interested in interiors, DIY, travel, architecture, fashion, photography or just beautiful things you’ll find it here. And if thats not enough you can actually add an image from anywhere off the web to add to your pins.

Of course like any other social networking site you can follow and be followed by others. You can repin images and be repined by others. The options are exhausting and I’m sure great things will become of this new site.
