I have been playing a prosperity game over on Facebook, with a group of people, which works on these basics. Each day we are given an amount of money from the universe to spend and we need to go out online, catalogue or window shopping and spend the amount we have supposedly in the day we receive it. Each day the amount gets bigger and each day you keep spending the money and be grateful and super excited to be receiving such abundance into your life.
What this does it teaches us to open up our lives and allow abundance to role in, to give up the old habits of constantly worrying about where the money is coming from, as we know each day we are automatically being sent it and each day it is automatically growing. Over time this way of receiving and parting with money helps us release old habits of worry, hoarding, moaning, holding onto and all those others negative ways of thinking we have around money.
It’s great fun to do and you know it actually gets really hard when you start getting into the bigger amounts to spend in a day’s work.
So on Day 14 I had $14,000 to spend and I decided to furnish the house with all the pieces that were on my wishlist, here’s a little snapshot of what I did with all that money:
Dwell Modular Sofa 3500
Vejmon coffee table 249
Besta media storage (6 chairs) 1738
Replica Eames DSW Side Chair 534
Replica George Nelson Bubble Pendant 395
Kajsa Rug 369
Replica Grant Featherstone Chair 1450
Heatherley Designs Sackville Bedhead 1085
Built in bookshelf 1000
Custom WIR fit out 1500
Laundry fit out 1000
Over head cupboards WIP 480
2 x Expedit Bookshelves 278
Accessory shopping Ikea 428
GRAND TOTAL $14000
Wow gotta say that took me a whole lottta time to do, searching the net for all the things I wanted, listing them, pricing them, and adding up as I went. All these steps actually help you to believe these things are yours, bring you joy in the “purchasing” of them, and actually allowing yourself up to bring the items into your life!
If you’re interested in playing this game, leave a comment on my Facebook Page.
Got to go spend my $15,000 now. What joy.
