Live your best life

I have been doing some study lately on the subject of New Thought/Metaphysics as its a concept or a way of living that reaches out to me. And whether the concepts are ones to which you are open to or closed to there are definitely some ideas that could help us all live our lives in a better way.

The New Thought Movement or New Thought is a spiritual movement which developed in the United States during the late 19th century and emphasizes metaphysical beliefs. It consists of a loosely allied group of religious denominations, secular membership organizations, authors, philosophers, and individuals who share a set of metaphysical beliefs concerning the effects of positive thinking, the law of attraction, healing, life force, creative visualization, and personal power.[1] It promotes the ideas that "Infinite Intelligence" or "God" is ubiquitous, spirit is the totality of real things, true human selfhood is divine, divine thought is a force for good, all sickness originates in the mind, and 'right thinking' has a healing effect.[2][3] Wikipedia

Except for those who are already highly evolved on this journey I think we could all be better living our best lives on a day to day basis through the beliefs that come from this. Since the inception of the New Thought movement there have been many experts on the subject whom all offer great concepts for improving our lives. These include many of my favourites such as Florence Scovel-Schinn, Charles & Myrtle Fillmore, Abraham-Hicks, Ekhart Toille, Louise Hay and many more.

Some of the great beliefs of this movement are about being able to as individuals “create our own reality”. Therefore though the power of meditation, prayer, affirmations, whatever it is that resonates with you we can;
  • Heal our minds and bodies (although we don’t shun traditional medical treatments at any point).
  • Create prosperity and abundance in our lives
  • Create our life experience through our way of thinking
The invisible forces are ever working for man who is always ‘pulling the strings’ himself, though he does not know it. Owing to the vibratory power of words, whatever man voices, he begins to attract. The Game of Life, Florence Scovel Shinn
Even if its just some quiet time your after we can all benefit from the power of meditation to help us improve our lives and wellbeing.

I highly recommend;
