I have been looking now for a little while for a reward type system for my little ones to help them understand routine and that in life no matter how much we fight it, there just are things that have to be done on a day to day basis.
As much as I don't want to stiffle their creative little minds, they need to know there are expectations on a daily basis and at least mastering the most basic of these will help me umm them as they grow and learn to become independant.
When I came across the My Busy Day magnetic boards by Magnetic Moves, I instantly loved the simplicity of it and the opportunity for involving the kiddies throughout the whole process from choosing the daily activities that need to be done and and then physically checking off those things once they have been done.
