Reflections of gratitude

I was watching Cougartown last night, here is in Australia its played quite late on free to air TV so I don’t watch it religiously but I do love to see it when I can more for the gorgeous sets than the actual show. I find the humour to be a bit sill actually, like a really silly version of friends. But last night they played the Thanksgiving episode and apart from the food and the great thanksgiving decor it made me start reflecting on what I can be grateful for over the last 12 months. We don’t celebrate thanksgivng here in Australia so we have to find our own way of doing it in our own time. And coupled with the task from my Adventures In Manifesting course – see more here nows as good a time as ever.

So to begin with I am thankful for:

The kids and their constantly challenging antics, non stop enthusiasm, naive innocence, unconditional love (a little too much sometimes..lol) and all round craziness.

My husband and his constant battle to keep the house clean..ha ha ha.

Deciding to go back to work and getting the job I desperately wanted.

Being able to build our own house and the journey that has taken me on, (Young House Love I love you for your non stop inspiration)

The world wide web – and the journey you constantly take me on from YHL to AIM, I can always find a soloution, inspiration, ideas or a good old laugh. I’ve met friends all over the world and made connections that have lead to my life experience and pursuit of happiness!!

I am grateful for the pets but if anyone wants to re-home a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or a Siamese Cat or both, they really do love each other, give me a yell.

My nans life, Nana Mac passed away late last year much to my absolute grief and horror but she lived a very long 89 years, had four sons, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and was ready for some peace. She showed me love, loyalty, honesty and I loved (and will always) her very much.

For Christmas I know its long passed and comes up every year but I love that magical season and wish Santa was real.

For french toast and maple syrup...yum

For cold nights and warm trackies.

Oh defintely for old re-runs of Sex and The City, love love Friday nights.

And for beautiful memories and family moments.

What are you grateful for?
